Well, the only way to respond to a new comment is to reply, so unfortunately, it does indeed affect post count. However, that's never really been important to me. I do know it seems to be of vital import to some though. And I'll complain when I want to, thanks. You're not my mom.

As I said to Fanatic, the post has traditionally contained useful information. I have complained in the past, and will continue to do so, should the initial post in the thread contain no useful information regarding the game. Unless it is a placeholder post, it's a waste.

Last season. It was on the old board. Had a few compliments on it, too, as it actually included useful information.

The gameday thread has, for years, been more than a place to discuss the game. It has also been a place where information about the game has traditionally been posted as the first post, to inform others about the days game. Your posts offer none of that, and thus are a complete waste of time...

So as long as the team sucks, so will the game day threads? Seriously, why bother? If you're not going to provide useful information, don't bother. Is your post count really that important to you?
