I'd like to think JT would be happy with $5m or less. Surely he's earned enough to be financially secure. He knows how the Leafs could benefit from having an extra $6-7 million to play with.

We have that in the NRL. If the "bunker" sees a discretion that the ref hasn't picked up they'll let the ref know and he will stop play and revert to that situation. Similarly if they have witnessed a player with a head knock they will ask the ref to stop play and have the player leave the field...
