I understood that to be a reference to the post-combine thing Toronto invites a dozen or so players to every season. In any case, I think player and team both felt the fit immediately and were basically making honeymoon plans without exactly saying it out loud.

They brought a film crew on that trip so it was basically just double checking there weren’t any red flags.

I knew that name looked familiar Looks like Gruden has the inside edge on the PP responsibilities if Sullivan is being re-roled. I also like the way Gruden managed the Marlies through the championship run. Very steady, helped the vets bring the room together and then got out of the way.
