Bullpen go boom (derogatory)

TLN 1. Easton Cowan I wanted him in the NHL last season for at least the first half to try to wean off the junior habits (long shifts, easy puck possession), but I think winning the Mem Cup in the fashion that he did was good too. We’ll see how he adjusts to Marlies minutes.

TLN 2. Ben Danford Plays actual, physical defense in junior. Relishes the kill. Lots of time and runway to absorb Chris Tanevisms

I wouldn’t mind the Leafs taking a flier on Pharand. A similar option in Marshall Finnie as well. The Leafs glut of zippy LWs means forechecking RWs have some extended value if they can make space for the LW.
