So if I plug in the guaranteed guys into our roster and leave Hyman and Dermott on regular IR  then I can't get under the cap  with 20 players.... But as far as I understand it both Hyman and Dermott are out long enough that they could be put on LTIR  ..... Then maybe the Leafs could carry 22...

Subban or Sparks will be on waivers  :) If Neuvirth makes the team  I expect Hutchinson to be claimed by someone else.... There are a lot of unknown ( to me ) backups pencilled in at this point
