Good points but keep in mind Marincin played 6 more minutes then Carrick in game 1 with Polak in the lineup.  I find this quite surprising considering the fact that Marincin would have been a healthy scratch had Zaitsev been in the line up for that game.  Marincin was there 7th D all year. ...

Not sure he's better defensively then Carrick.  And he's a right shot like Polak.  It's odd they thought more highly of Carrick all year then all of a sudden Marincin is getting more ice? Weird to me. Carrick 67 games played and Marincin 25 games. N

Don't mean to harp on Marincin but the guy was scratched most of the year, he only played 25 games yet he was getting so much ice in the playoffs.  Even more ice then Carrick who played 67 games.  It didn't make sense to me.

Someone please explain to me why goalies fall to their knees before the shot...especially a shot from that bad of an angle. That OT goal should never have happened! Does anyone not play like Brodeur anymore? He would read the shot first.

Agreed.... but I was against this trade the minute I saw it.  It wasn't just after last night, I know its just one game but I never liked this trade. They paid a high price for a goalie when they could have signed one as a FA  for cheaper that was just as good and not had to give up any draft...
