Matthews and Marner will beat Sundin's Leaf records, but I'll never love a Leaf again like I have Mats.  I miss him.

Still things to clean up in their game but you'll always take the win. 4 in a row now

Agreed. I think the balance is starting to look much better with no Reaves, and also we've more cope to juggle around lines and combos without having to shoehorn him in.
I Saw Jay McClement Score.

Salming for me but what a treat it is watching our stars today. Such talent.

Same. I became a Leafs fan because of Gilmour but stayed a fan because of Mats.

Are they flying commercial for this?
Normally they're on Jetz flights (not sure if those airbuses are rated for transatlantic)

That flight is in a 787 Dreamliner.  Big plane.

That's the plane they took to Sweden.  The flight is a charter flight.  Pretty sure the throngs of Toronto media are on the same flight.

Personally I'm not surprised the best player in the league is also good on the penalty kill. 😏

I think we settled into the 1-1-3 NZ forecheck sometime mid 2021-2022 season. I recall it being used to great effect in stuffing Edmonton/McDavid in two nearly back to back games (when Justin Holl became Connor McDavid's dad). This was probably when the Oilers began to lust after Jack Campbell.

The 1-1 steers the breakout to one side, and the 3 either envelope the attempted controlled entry, or corral the dump in with short support, as described by Corrado.
