Do we even know if he was asked? Either way, I've worked for many great people who have moved on. Not once did I want to uproot m family to follow to another company and def not to another country.

This is a bit of a different circumstance though. I think lots of people would uproot their family if the price was right and they believed in the work they were doing with their boss/company etc.
