Guilt Trip

Pretty sure Tree mentioned the core 4 term needing to go away and at the end of this interview, Eakins does the same thing.

Could be a possible replacement for Carbery. Leafs poached a 39-year old Carbery after winning the 2021 coach of the year award in the AHL. Love, who turns 39 in a few days, has won it back to back in the 2 seasons since.

He does fit the coaching staff's vacant ecological niche.

Question for someone who knows: was Mitch Love the AHL Coach of the Year because of coaching, or was it because he was the coach of Dustin Wolf?

Oh, we also need a Marlies coach.

Highlander

I wonder when Brad is going to start pulling the trigger on some moves.  Maybe he will be like Michael Corleone and deal with everything in one day.

Significantly Insignificant

I've given Treliving a hard time, calling him a bland GM.  I liked his opening press conference for camp.  He seems to want to be as transparent as possible, while still respecting the privacy of the team and individual players.  Also, I think he has an idea of how he thinks this team has to play in order to win.  We'll see if he is right.
