He's been (regular) recalled "to serve as the Club's playoff emergency backup goaltender (EBUG)". Which is pretty standard practice for teams to do.

Is there an ATO cap? :)

If I had to pick two factors that could decide this one:

1.  Playoffs Vasi — yes or no?
2.  Can the Core 4 deliver in an elimination game?  Their numbers to date have been pretty awful.

I don't get too excited watching the Leafs anymore. I am literally at the point where I need them to do something before I am back in. If they win the first round I am ALLLLLL in and will daydream of a Stanley Cup but not before a first-round win.

I don't get too excited watching the Leafs anymore. I am literally at the point where I need them to do something before I am back in. If they win the first round I am ALLLLLL in and will daydream of a Stanley Cup but not before a first-round win.

I get excited watching the games but I don't get upset if they don't win. It's hockey so anything can happen and the sun will come up tomorrow. Makes it a lot easier. Hope this is the start of a log run!

That's a good way of looking at it. From my perspective, the management group has put together an entertaining, competitive team that has been fun to watch this season. Sure, I hope they do some winning in the playoffs, but I'm satisfied with the plan and the product regardless.
