•Ilya Samsonov (25-10-5, 2.40 GAA, .916 Sv%) will likely start for the Maple Leafs
•Woll was sent down to the Marlies on Friday night suggesting that Murray will likely be cleared to dress
•Projected lines are what the Leafs used in their last game, but don't be surprised to see a change or two of course
•This will be Toronto's final regular season home game this season, and of course on HNIC. Expect to see Wayne Simmonds, who was called up alongside the Woll move, dress for what could possibly be his final game in a Leafs uniform

Good, we need Murray ready to go. You may have noticed that he leads our internal voting in MotM/Wins — he has played well more often than not.

And I think Simmonds will see some action in the playoffs.

I wish we could see this:

Bunting-Matthews-Jarnkrok
Kerfoot-Tavares-Marner
Nylander-O'Reilly-Acciari
ZAR-Kampf-Lafferty

I get a Nylander is struggling but pulling him off PP1 for OReilly and keeping a Tavares on there makes no sense to me.

Because he's been terrible on the PP and needs a kick in the ass to get going again.

I mean neither Tavares or Nylander have been good of late.  Having our top three centres on PP1 though makes it pointless to have a PP2 though unless they are double shifting Matthews...which with 4 games left seems like not a good use of energy

I wouldn't pull tavares off PP1 because his best skillset at this point is mid slot redirects and quick shots in close, with minimal skating required. He does it well. They've got tons of guys that can move the puck around the perimeter, tavares gets down low and adds options.

They haven't been good together for awhile.  I wonder if ROR will stay on the second line with Tavares and Willy drops to the 3rd line.

Maybe they're just looking to get O'Reilly some PP time to get his timing back, and give a few guys a lighter load. It may have nothing to do with sending a message. I mean, there's 4 games left in a career year for Nylander, he's been great... some rest might be way more helpful, but I am giving more credit to keefe than your more likely scenario.

Kevin McGran pointed out the other day that with Woll up the Leafs wouldn't have enough cap space to sign Knies next week. So they could be using the EBUG option for tonight's game which would then allow them to bring back Woll for the remaining 3 games at a $0 cap hit.

I really wouldn't read too much into line-up decisions like that right now.
