Game notes
CBJ
•Jon Gillies (1-0-0, 2.99 GAA, .889 Sv%) will likely start for the Blue Jackets
•Columbus currently sits last in the East and 3rd last in the league overall

TOR
•Ilya Samsonov (25-10-4, 2.41 GAA, .915 Sv%) will likely start for the Maple Leafs
•Toronto's projected line are pretty up in the air right now, especially since the Leafs didn't practice on Monday
•With no update on Murray I'm guessing Samsonov will get the start. Although Woll could also be an option if he receives a call-up before the game
•It sounded like whatever kept Marner out of the line-up on Sunday wasn't serious, so there's probably a decent chance he's back playing
•A Ryan O'Reilly return to the line-up is expected sometime this week, although he has yet to have a full practice without a red non-contact jersey so it might not happen here

It's an interesting game in which one team would be very happy to lose, and the other team is more interested in resting players than winning.

Unsurprising. With Samsonov having just played 3 games in 4 nights I would hope Woll gets the start.

This game needs to be positioned as an exercise in turtle-flipping: Keefe-led Leafs have been washed out of playoff serieses consistently by committed slot-packing teams (after getting burned on rush-counters). Figure out how to flip the turtle.

Leafs have not done Pride jerseys before and likely aren't starting this year.

I guess, but I don't think the Leafs can just slack off for the rest of the season. There is still home ice to win.

Significantly Insignificant

I am all for making the slogan of this year's playoffs "Flip the turtle!!!"
