Yeah, I'd say Matthews looks sharper than he has most of the year.

Leafs have done a good job of tilting the ice so far this period.

He's bobbled the puck way more this year than he did last year. Today is no exception. Lowest scoring since rookie year. Highly doubtful he's just snakebit.

Keefe all but admitted he's playing with some kind of nagging problem.  He DID admit it, in the past tense, but reading between the lines, I think it's still there.

The Laff pass was less relevant than his speed pushing the defense back without giving them time to recover their gap on the drop.
