Game notes
VGK
•Logan Thompson (6-2-0, 2.01 GAA, .934 Sv%) will likely start for the Golden Knights
•Vegas has not lost since their last appearance against Toronto. That win against the Leafs in late October was the beginning of their current 7 game winning streak

TOR
•Erik Kallgren (1-1-2, 2.76 GAA, .904 Sv%) will likely start for the Maple Leafs
•The Leafs did tinker with their lines in the 3rd period of the game against Carolina, namely splitting up the Matthews-Marner duo. It's unclear right now if that change will carry over to this game as well

The only difference from how the game ended against Carolina is Marner and Nylander were swapped (to excellent effect for both lines). Just do it whenever, to keep defenses guessing.

We'll see how it goes tonight, but I think Liljegren has really stabilized the pairs

At the very least, do it for this reason.

We'll see what Kallgren brings tonight.  He is third or fourth in the depth chart or was as the season started...

I kinda expect an iffy goal each game from him. He's performed great, but my expectations are still not all THAT high. His save percentage shows he's been able to bring his A game, and last game was a pretty impressive start.

Fingers crossed for tonight!

Picked up Kallgren in my hockey pool. Trying to stem the bleeding from Campbell and Saros tough starts.

So GO LEAFS GO!
Can't be cheering for Connor Brown no more.

Lovely.  Sandin boots it and it's 1-0.  Not a great effort from Kallgren.

The ice seems horrible.  I've counted 3 pucks that have jumped over sticks already, including the Sandin one.

Sandin yikes. 5th time we've given up a goal in the first minute according to Gord. Not good dozen games in.
