Lol they're actually playing Kerfoot and Jarnkrok on D.

For a massive guy Curtis Douglas really wasn't noticeable on the ice.  He's way too far down the depth chart right now to win a spot out of camp but I was hoping that he'd be a little more noticeable against this Montreal roster.  Anderson is another guy who should be showing something more by now.  He's 24 and this is his third camp with the team.

Malgin has looked really good so far.  Maybe it's just preseason Aleksander Suglobov scenario and come the regular season he fades away but he looks like he wants a spot on the opening night roster.  I'm all for it.

Yeah Joey Anderson looks simply... serviceable? He takes bad shots alone. Defensively fine, but if you want to stand out, then it's got to be like Steeves/McMann/Ellis with something else to offer. At this point, he probably makes it through waivers outright. We already have Kerfoot, Jarnkrok, Aube-Kubel, Malgin, Simmonds, Aston-Reese in the mix bringing a lot more to the table.

Some weird switch flipped last night and now everyone seems extra dialed up trying to visibly be a team player and do whatever it takes to play and help the team win (I mean even moreso than the usual cliche hockey interview). Cap crunch trade incoming?
