Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Nylander-Tavares-Malgin (or Gaudette or Robertson)
Engvall-Kerfoot-Jarnkrok
ZAR-Kampf-NAK

Rielly-Brodie
Muzzin-Holl
Giordano-Liljegren
Sandin

Murray
Samsonov

Looks like pretty solid to me. Obvious issue is that it's $1.33mil over the cap. Injuries, especially Liljegren's, will push the problem down the line a little bit but eventually something will have to give.

I'm pretty sure Zar-Kampf-Nak is the final boss in Legend of Zelda.

Actually, I think he's a Superman villain.

I'm pretty sure the Leafs just declared war on the Klingon empire.

Yeah, I'm not sure I heard anything about these negotiations over the last two months.

Quote"Negotiations are going nowhere," Lewis Gross, Sandin's agent, told Sportsnet Wednesday during a phone call.

"Negotiating contracts via the media have an adverse impact on player (and) team reputation and traditionally do not create resolutions to private matters," Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas texted Wednesday when informed of Gross's comments.

QuoteHe said that he didn't want to try and use those situations involving teammates for his own gain and recognizes the tight position the organization is in with the salary cap. He also saw October creeping up on the calendar and understood the importance of participating in camp and some exhibition games.

"I'm still a young guy and I can benefit from that time," said Sandin. "I wanted to be back with the boys. I can't wait to walk in that dressing room and give everyone a big hug."

I mean he realized that after Dubas not blinking for 3 months that was just the best offer he was getting. The whole "I'm being a great teammate" thing is basically just cover for fans who look down on players who don't sign before camp.

Whining is obviously hyperbolic, but it's Lewis Gross digging in to nothing, and did nothing for Sandin besides project him as not a team player in comparison to Liljegren.
