Tim Peel thinks this hit is karma.  Tim Peel was an NHL official a year ago.  The NHL essentially did nothing about their corrupt officiating.   This is a recording.

Not defending him but there are a lot of people who think the same thing. He took out Biddington.  Not a good way to respond to anyone getting hurt for sure.

Kadri had surgery on his thumb today...would like to see him make it back but don't think it's happening. Hope they win it.

Oddly enough 2019 was the last time I found a post where I said the Leafs should get him (backing your suggested swap for Connor Brown). I think I mostly didn't bring him up much since then because I doubted the Oilers would actually trade him. But after a playoff run where despite playing very well he frequently played less than 12 minutes a night and sometimes played less than 10 minutes a night they definitely seemed poised to do something dumb with him this offseason.

Even ignoring Puljujarvi for a second I do think Mrazek makes some sense with Edmonton. They need a goalie, have a history of their pro scouts going after former Leafs even if their time here wasn't exactly the greatest (Ceci/Barrie), and Ken Holland's had a relationship with Mrazek going back 10 years now when he drafted him and Detroit and spent 6 years in their system.
