Disagree with O'Neill not being able to get up for a game against a non playoff team. Ferraro said during the game home ice is important. Agree with him 100%. It's going to be tough series regardless who you play but if the Leafs keep advancing why wouldn't you want home ice advantage?

I heard him say "Some years it [home ice] doesn't matter.  This year it does."

Now, even if I got it backwards, the question remains the same: why would it ever not matter to have home ice?  I mean, sure, under covid when there's nobody there.  But in normal times, it always matters.  Doesn't mean it always translates into winning, of course.
