A chance to set the single season points record for the Leafs against the GM that was here during the previous single season points record.  Hmm.

Time for Matthews to bust his slump and put a dagger through the heart of Draisaitl's dreams of glory.

I want to see a 50-20-6 record tomorrow morning.

I don't ever recall seeing them 30 games above .500

Since the COVID break the Islanders are 26-18-3 so they aren't a pushover but you wonder how much they have in the tank being officially eliminated from the playoffs and none of their games really matter as they can't even play playoff spoiler.

The good thing is that the Isles plays better then the Sens, a better effort from the Leafs is needed.

But ot will be sweet to see the record smashed against Lou's team.

Go Leafs Go.
Go Leafs Go!!!

Players tend to be loosey-goosey and have fun with the pressure off. It's why the bottom-feeders pull  off these upsets.

Opponents seem to be playing Matthews tighter with the coverage. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he cracks 60.

Go Leafs Go!

I actually wasn't happy with his game last night and was going to post something so maybe he was dealing with it throughout the game. As much as the Rocket trophy is great let's make sure he's healthy. If he hadn't missed some game the race for the Rocket would probably be out of reach for Leon. So deep down we know who the best scorer is.
