Boston blew a 2-0 lead and lost to the sens tonight, guess they're just gonna forfeit the rest of their season.

Boston clearly doesn't want a first round matchup with the Leafs . :)

Every Leaf forward had a 60% or better CF last night except the 4th line trio, who were about 41% and on the ice for the only 5-on-5 goal against. 8 games left to find an answer there.

If Kase were to come back then a solution is either Kase or Engvall on the 4th line with Blackwell and anyone.

For sure but the Leafs should be checking out other combinations that can work there in the very likely event Kase isn't returning anytime soon.

Robertson?  Steeves?  Abruzzese clearly isn't ready.

He may not be ready from prime time but I'd like to see him in a bigger role like he was in the T Bay game when he played on the 3rd line because of Willy being out. I think Keefe is really easing him into the NHL and for a kid that's just come out of college and finding his way he's been fine so far. No real glaring errors. Usually makes the smart play. Good skater. We'll see how he progresses.

I was going to write, "That's fine but we can't afford to let him learn the ropes in the playoffs" ... but Robertson is hardly more experienced in post-season and I have no idea about Steeves.  :-\ :-\ :P :P :o :o
