I'm really not sure how they thought this would work.
I wish to hell I'd never said "Winning isn't everything it's the only thing". What I believe is, if you go out on a football field, or any endeavour in life, and you leave every fibre of what you have on the field, then you've won.

Yeah, it's the World Juniors,  we all know it's how it goes, players pick up a lot of points. But it's impressive, just like when Gretzky scored 3 in an 8-0 win against West Germany at age 16.

Austria has 6 17 year olds and 9 19 year olds on the roster so it isn't the oldest roster in the tournament but it's still 4 goals.  That doesn't happen often at any level.  He's the 6th Canadian player to do it in the World Juniors.

Yeah, considering that nobody else on the team, including some 19 year old 1st rounders, scored 4 goals I don't think this is an accomplishment anyone needs to "Well, actually..."

I still don't see how he's rated to go #1 overall. Maybe I was expecting too much but I've seen him play live and wasn't impressed at all. Very good player but nothing that made me go wow.
