Stempniak was off the team after 2 seasons. Easily one of the worst. What was the impetus of even trading him? I never understood that.

Even weirder is that I'm almost Steen's age so he's one of the first players I clearly remember getting drafted by the Leafs, playing a career, watching his career from afar, and watching him retire. I think I'm starting to get old!

In hindsight...even Colaiacovo for Stempniak straight up would have been a terrible trade
