I'm no big NFL guy, but...go Bills!

13-0 in the 3rd.

But at least the Patriots lost. It's good to see their reign slowly coming to an end.

What next for soon-to-be free-agent Tom Brady?

That had to be a heartbreaker alright. Bills came out on the losing end of a 22-19 OT WC loss to the Houston Texans. Shouldn't have come to that. Collapse.

Not lost on QB Jake Allen.

Led by QB J.Garropolo and a stingy defence, the SF 49ers were 27-10 winners over the Minnesota Vikings in their Divisional Round playoff matchup.

The Titans continued their on field mastery as they stymied the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 28-12 in their Div. Round.

What a day for QB whiz Patrick Mahomes and his KC Chiefs as they rallied back from a 21-0 deficit to a convincing 51-31 crushing of the Houston Texans in another Div. Round matchup.

Mahomes three for 300+yards and 5 touchdowns, but his opponent, QB Deshaun Wilson showed his mettle in throwing 380+yards and 2 touchdowns.
Compared to Mahomes, he couldn't match the rushing yards nor the extra TDS.  Mahomes had 53 yds.rushing (carries) to go with his other on-field histrionics.

The swift San Francisco 49ers ran roughshod over the Green Bay Packers, stymying Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers, enroute to a 37-20 victory in San Francisco in the NFC Conference Championship Round matchup.

Even though Rodgers outperformed 49ers QB Jim Garropolo, it was San Francisco's running game and their defence that gave Green Bay fits.

Rodgers three for 300+ yards, two TDS, and  31/30 psss/comps plus 2 interceptions.
At the other end, Garropolo three for 77 yards but was 6/8 in pass/comps.

Over to the AFC Conference Championship in Kansas City, QB Patrick Mahomes & his Chiefs defeated the Tennessee Titans 35-24.
The score indicates a close game but in reality, the Chiefs staked a lead they never relinquished forcing Tennessee to keep catching up.  The quick-running Titans, especially RB Derrick Henry, couldn't quite find their footing, so to speak.

It was basically KC QB Mahomes who did the damage with 3 TDS to his credit and 53 yards rushing.

Hail to the comeback Chiefs!

KC, led by wunderkind QB Patrick Mahomes,  overcame a 20-10 San Francisco lead enroute to winning Super Bowl LIV 31-20.

Call it 50 years in the making.  That's how long it's been since Kansas City last won the championship (Super Bowl lV in 1970 over the Minnesota Vikings).

Mahomes is named MVP, being the architect of the Chiefs playoff successes as well as dictating these come-from-behind victories.  It wasn't until the fourth quarter that the Chiefs rallied back scoring 21 points to win it.

Wow.  What a win and what a half-time show!
