Jim Gregory, Hockey Hall of Famer, former Toronto Maple Leafs general manager and a League executive for four decades, died Wednesday. He was 83. Check out the link. There's also a nice lil story below about his relationship with Salming. RIP Mr Gregory.

RIP, James. I played hockey with his nephew and Mr. Gregory brought up to the Gardens to meet Roger Neilson.  It was a great day for a 13 year old. My thoughts go out to his family

Rest in Peace Jim, I respect anyone who had to deal with Harold Ballard.. And thanks for Salming by the way.

That 'fiery' (Ballard) decade.  I remember Mr. Gregory and how instrumental he was in signing Sittler, Lanny, & B.J.

Rest In Peace.
