Played well last night but we really need him to get some offence going. He's got the best matchup of all the lines here. He's done well, now pot one!
Hard to do with linemates where offense goes to die.

Yeah, was a PPG player when he had someone to play with in Kadri.

He's generating lots more now from center, but those wingers are jokes. Would be neat to see Kadri in Marleau's spot sometime in the future.

Won't argue but people still went after Matthews last year when his wingers were doing nothing. I know it's hard but if his line could pot one next game, it would be huge. He has the best matchup. I, like many here would like to see Moore out with them instead of Marleau. I think that change alone could help a lot. One good thing tho, Willy and Marleau have only been on the ice for 1 even goal against in 5 games and Brown hasn't been on the ice for any even against so they're doing a good job defensively. Having said that Moore hasn't been on the ice for any goals against. Hopefully they can win it tomorrow and then Kadri will be back for the 2nd round.

War of attrition. I'll take it

He has good matchups relative to Tavares/Matthews but is also playing with 24 goals on his wing.

Matthews - 40 gaols
Tavares - 47 goals
Nylander - 24 goals

Hard to put up offense when your line can't score.  They have had a bunch of phenomenal scoring chances and I have actually like the effort out of Marleau/Brown but they just can't finish.

It continues to boggle my mind that people want him to demonstrate effort by going hard to the net when he's the best slot passer on the team.

I didn't see one person complain about his game 5. His effort was up, he went to the net and back checked hard.

Ah yes one game will change everybody's mind :)

No it won't.
What bothers me most is that when he slams that big Mjölnir into the ground, no special effects happen, only dust and some marks in the payment. Poor lad, he has to go!

He can't do both?  Because I don't think I or anyone else said if had to be one or the other.

Nope. Want both. Greedy.

Nylander only has 10 points in 5 games during the Worlds this year.  Contuing his drive to be the biggest bust in the history of the league.

Looks like 9 of them came against in blowout wins against Italy, Austria and Norway

Don't see too many other players in the tournament capitalizing on that same opportunity.
