That's a bummer. I once semi-seriously argued he was the most important writer of the 20th century. He certainly had the biggest impact on my life of all of them. My favourite little weird fact about him is that he was one of only 7 guys to serve in World War 2 as an official US Army playwright.
I wish to hell I'd never said "Winning isn't everything it's the only thing". What I believe is, if you go out on a football field, or any endeavour in life, and you leave every fibre of what you have on the field, then you've won.

Thanks Stan, I grew up a comic book junkie and had quite a collection. Would have been worth a fortune today, but they went up with the house back in 78 and lost everything.  Learned that things are things and you can always get new things. People that you love, a lot different.
