Leaderboard tallies including Round 16:

BarMutt            181
hockeyfan1       178
WAYNEINIONA  175
Hobbes             167

WAYNEINIONA is already on the way up the standings, in part to Hobbes non selections for Round 16.  Still, the standings are ever tighter amongst the challengers and expect more changes to come as the season rolls along.

Leaderboard tallies including Round 18:

BarMutt                214
WAYNEINIONA      204
hockeyfan1           200
Hobbes                187

Another change in the leaderboard standings, as we can see WAYNEINIONA worked his way up to second spot, having nudged hockeyfan1 from her comfortable perch within distance of BarMutt.

Good job, WAYNEINIONA,  for a challenger who started the season at the bottom, and now is giving the leader a run for it!

Hobbes has fallen behind due to a missed round.  Ouch.  But there's still plenty of time for some catching up, and who knows what these tallies will show us as the season goes on.  Stay tuned...

It looks like it will be a close run to the finish.

At this point, sure looks like.    This is what makes this Challenge so interesting.

You did a great job moving up from the lower part of the pack.  As we say, anything can happen.  And who knows who the winner will be?  ☺

Very close indeed. I think I would have netted about 10 points on the week I missed so I'd still be trailing, but not by quite as daunting a margin. Well done to you all!
It's not denial...I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Leaderboard tallies including Round 22:

Leaderboard tallies including Round 23:

BarMutt                269
WAYNEINIONA      260
Hobbes                258
hockeyfan1          250

The standing placement has changed.  Hobbes has dislodged hockeyfan1 from third place.  Job well done!

The standings are too close to predict who will be crowned the eventual winner, but one thing is for certain, it will get tougher as the season comes to it's conclusion.   Not too many more challenges to go.  Stay tuned.

Leaderboard tallies including Round 25:

BarMutt            292
WAYNEINIONA  281
Hobbes             278
hockeyfan1       269

Looks more and more like hockeyfan1 has flunked to the bottom of the leaderboard.  Oh...   Well, that's just too bad but there may just be time to eke the way up...

Anyhoo, WAYNEINIONA is almost within reach of leader BarMutt, and Hobbes (he stole my tea leaves!    ), he's been movin' on up, too.

With the last Challenge remaining, it's going to come down to the wire.  Stay tuned.

Leaderboard tallies including Round 26:

BarMutt                292
Hobbes                 289
hockeyfan1           278

*Leaderboard alert*  We have a changing of the guard in the final Challenge standings of the season!   Due to BarMutt missing the last Round 26 and thus not racking up any more points, WAYNEINIONA becomes this year's overall winner!

Great job there, WAYNE!

As for Hobbes, he hung in there and wasn't too far off the mark.

BarMutt, he had in the bag and would have been his for the taking if only...

hockeyfan1, what happened to you?!  Started off great early in the year but tapered off  as the season progressed.   Not a very good season, indeed, plenty of inconsistencies much like the Leafs.  😁

A very exciting, fun-filled time for all of us Challengers.  I truly enjoyed it as this year's Pick'em was one of the more intense in terms of who would climb on up and who would sink to the lower rank.

Thank you to all— BarMutt, WAYNEINIONA, & Hobbes — for your participation.  Hope to see all you guys back here next season. 🙂🙂

Hobbes

Great picks everyone and congrats to Wayne for pulling out the stops in the final week to sneak past BarMutt. Thanks for organizing and doing the weekly tallies Hockeyfan1...was good fun! Looking forward to next year. :)
