Reimer only needed a shutout to win last night. Damn you Reimer.

It just shows how far the Leafs are from being a contender. Agree that toughness would be nice: I mean in the puck battle sense. Getting beat on nearly every corner battle was frustrating to watch.

The Leafs matched them in turnovers created I thought, the Leafs  didn't compete along the boards against the Bs.

The problem with last nights loss is the possible psychological impact. Thinking they "can't" instead of "can". It was the first time I've seen the Leafs pack it in before the end of a game this year. (haven't seen all games though)

sidenote: I thought Reimer looked solid in his return game.

While I agree the Leafs are far from being a contender, I don't think the Boston games on their own prove that. The Leafs system of play doesn't match up well against the Bruins. Look at a team like the Habs who play more of a trap system and wait for breaks, they've been in all 3 games against the Bruins, winning 2-would you suggest the Habs are a contender?  Outside of Price they're thin on actual talent.

That's a good point. although I will mention throughout the course of a playoff run, a team needs to face different styles and win...and your quite right about the Leafs not matching up well against the Bs from a style-of-play perspective.

Does that point lead to coaching? If Toronto's style doesn't match up well should Wilson modify that style to suit playing a certain team?

I didn't say anything about the coaching. What's this beef you have with Wilson?  Do tell.

The only beef is on the BBQ. >:(  I am wondering why a coach wouldn't have his team play a different style when they have been dominated 3 times already.
