GSP has to finish Diaz tho or alot of people are gonna start rooting against him.  Im even getting a little annoyed with his performances lately cause it always seems to be the same excuse. Sorry, tried my best, was fighting an injury, blah blah blah.  Finish him George.
Yeah it's GSP's fault Shields poked him in the eye and virtually blinded him for 3 rounds. Guys like you kill me. You may want to see KO/stoppages but the skill level of a GSP is off the charts and it's so impressive how bad he makes fighters like Sheilds, Kos, Alves, Penn, and Fitch look. Sure I'd like to see him put someone away but the pure brilliance of the game plan and execution is a thing of beauty. He never even lost a round for 7 fights until the Sheilds fight, and IMO he didn't lose one then either.
Heard an interview with Royce Gracie and he said he loves the way a guy like GSP fight...Come in with a game plan, and execute it to perfection.

"Guys like me?"  Oh you mean guys who expect to see a fighter try and finish a fight?  Or guys who wonder why a guy SO dominant can't finish?  Or perhaps a guy who is starting to question a game plan that apparently calls for a fighter to wrestle his way to a 5 rd decision.

Fighters are supposed to go in and try to finish fights period.  GSP couldn't finish Kos either time. Couldn't finish Fitch, Alves or Hardy.  The last guy he finished was Penn who threw in the towel over 2 years ago.  GSP is one hell of an athlete but he's got to get that killer instinct back and fight instead of being afraid to lose.

Strikeforce Fedor vs Henderson this weekend.

I dunno.  I'll put that in the lucky punch category.

Darryl

True but he hasn't shown a thing to make him look like the dominate Fedor of the mid 2000s. The last time I remember him truly looking good for a whole fight was when he stopped Tim Sylvia.

I find Fedor really hard to read cause no matter what he always has the same look on his face.  I agree that his time is likely done and he should go so people can remember him as a winner rather than talking about how he should've retired 4 fights earlier.

I'd still like to see a Couture/Fedor match tho.

Toronto to host UFC 140 at the ACC in December

Watch that sell out before tickets go on public sale. UFC Fight Club members will clean them out.

Kinda surprised they didn't go with the dome again but I guess with the main event unknown they didn't want to chance it on a larger venue.

Anyone else see the choice of ring attire from Dennis Hallman? Makes GSP looks fully dresses after coming into the cage wearing a Speedo. I'm going to need some therapy to get that image outta my head.

He thought it was a swimming contest.

Well that knee looked like it took the air right out of Tito and then it was over.

Matt Hamill retires from the octagon.....I always liked Matt as he is a classy guy. Wish him nothing but the best.....

"There hasn't been even one training camp where I've been able to train without training around an injury," he said. "I have not been kind to my body and it has nothing left after 28 years of non stop competition."

Apparently he lost a bet and had to wear that. There were no submissions on the card, so Dana gave that bonus to his opponent for ending the fight so quickly and getting that outfit off TV. He has also said there will likely be a stronger dress code after this.
