Gilmour, Kapanen -- is there really any difference?

Pretty much waited the whole tournament, but that was nice.

In fairness, he set-up both goals in the Semi to get them to the final too.

If you wanna win, get a Finn.
If you wanna get high sticked in Game 6, and then have all your hopes crushed, get a Gilmore

I was thinking of bigtime wraparounds, but in truth the two were quite different.

What is with this posting style?

It's like an odd news service linking it's stuff, but every second one has an error in it.

"FINLANDIA!! FINLANDIA!!"

Nik

I'm sure he spent a good chunk of his childhood in the states so it shouldn't be a surprise but Kapanen doesn't even have a trace of an accent. He sounds very much like English is his first language.
I wish to hell I'd never said "Winning isn't everything it's the only thing". What I believe is, if you go out on a football field, or any endeavour in life, and you leave every fibre of what you have on the field, then you've won.

Maybe he speaks Finnish with a Philly accent.

Ron Wilson speaking...

Ron Wilson...is..uncertain if he wants to parlay his 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships experience into more work.

"I don't want to do this again, I don't think," Wilson told reporters...."I don't see myself coming back. I wanted to do it once. I wanted to see what it was like to coach at this level, and I did. We won a bronze. It's not gold, but it's still something."

"Sometimes I had my doubts there after my Toronto experience. I was getting criticized from all sides. You learn to trust yourself. That's what I did, I trusted myself and we were rewarded," Wilson said.

The coach, who holds dual American-Canadian citizenship, made headlines in the tournament for criticizing the media pressure put on Team Canada's teens and admitting he did zero research on Russia's players before they eliminated his squad in Monday's semifinal.

Yet American star Auston Matthews said the players all appreciated Wilson's style of guidance.

"He was really laid back. He was really honest with everybody. He doesn't yell a lot. It was different from what most people kind of expected," Matthews told reporters in Helsinki. "It was really nice to have him as a coach.

I thought the US goalie was the best in the tournament.
