Jays sign Joba Chamberlain

Jays have signed reliever Joba Chamberlain to a minor league deal. He will report to the Jays facility in Dunedin to start off. The Tigers cut him earlier this month, which isn't a good sign because they have a worse bullpen than the Jays!

Jays want Sanchez back in the pen, but he wants to start. If Joba gets promoted at some point maybe Sanchez gets his wish.

Joba is one of those guys I put the category where his career was hurt by teams not being able to decide if they want him as starter or a reliever. Guys like Escobar, Morrow,etc some other examples.
