I will be in Toronto for opener on Oct 6th.  What should I expect to pay for lower level seats on EBay or scalpers?  Will be looking for 2 seats and like to sit behind net.

2 seats in the lower bowl behind the net for opening night?

I'd wager you'd be looking at 700-900 for a pair, maybe more even.

I would have guessed $1000+...

Right now, on stubhub, there are some of what he's looking for priced between $390 and $618

Per ticket right? About a grand will do it.

Yea, per.

So 780-1236 for a pair.

Never know what will happen to prices closer to game day.

And I gave my tickets to my neighbour - I could have made a fortune (but he did a string of unpaid favours for me and is taking his son)

Anyone have an scalper experience?  Do they go for more or less than EBay and StubHub or is it a hit and miss thing???  I assume there won't be many on the street for opening night??  FYI I pay $3600 for 2 season tics behind net in Phoenix!!!!

I've gotten Jays tickets from scalpers before, but thats different, you get them at pretty much face from them for that.

I just did it to avoid the line.

Bleeding Blue & White

I would imagine the scalpers are more since people there are usually desperate for tickets.  Man tickets are going to be way out of my price range for years to come.

You're right

Scalpers in Toronto would rather lose the sale than come down in price - there is almost always someone that will pay their price.
