Thanks. Sounds simple enough.

You know it's funny, I've gone through 5 Xbox 360s and now I'll be buying my 2nd PS3, but the Nintendo I got in 1989 still works.

Sorry, I have to ask.  Is your xbox/ps3 housed inside a cabinet or something?  Or is it in an open area with lots of airflow?

PS3 is on top of a tv stand in the open. The Xbox is on the shelf below it, but the other 4 that broke were all in open areas.

I know what you're thinking but I probably treat my consoles better than I would treat my children :p

Cool, just figured I'd ask in case it would help. :)

Thanks! I guess it just reached the end. I bought it in 07.

sucka

Not sure which thread to put this in ...gaming or MMA..but Cain Velasquez should be cast as Dom Santiago (Gears of War) should they ever do a live action movie.

Really looking forward to Skyrim. I love sandbox games.

I really want to see a pre-quel to Red Dead Redemption though...

Did you find the end of RDR disappointing?

Ugh. My PS3 died today. Is transferring profile and save game data to a new console a simple task?

profile is stored online so i think youre fine there, data stored on hard drive, you can remove it and install it in your next machine, shouldnt be an issue IMO. HD can be found on left side of Ps3

My ps3 is fully dead now. Won't even turn on. I have the 40GB console. I'm going out on Saturday to buy a 160GB console.

Normally I'd just copy the save files to a USB drive and transfer them that way, but since I can't turn the console on that's out of the question. Would I still be able to remove the HDD, install it in the 160GB console and copy the files to the USB in order to put them on the 160GB HDD? Did that make sense?

*Spoiler Alert

It's fitting... but I love John Marston as a character so much that it was rough to see him go.

I really liked the ending, it made me sad and the last mission as Jack where you shoot the FBI guy felt really satifsfying.  I don't generally get emotional from video games so it felt really powerful to feel that strongly.

Just got Scribblenauts Remix for iPhone.

First thing I did was make a "Dead Baby".   Second thing was a "Giant Hungry Dingo."   It had predictable results.

Anyone else really looking forward to Arkham City tomorrow!?!?

I don't know if I'm so jazzed that I'll go get it tomorrow but I really enjoyed Asylum. My one complaint was that it was too short and City apparently has a bunch more depth.

As excited as I can be about a video game, I guess.
