The Sharks come to town this evening.  San Jose is second in the West.  They are currently on a 5 game winning streak, having only lost 3 games to date.

The Leafs, on the other hand, are returning home after a poor road trip – losing 4 in a row.

Coach Carlyle is putting the pressure on his players, expecting a more significant game enhancement from each player.

Clarkson Changing Role…

Lance Hornby, of the Sun, tells us that in practice yesterday, David Clarkson was placed on the third line with Carter Ashton and Trevor Smith.  Nikolai Kulemin made the switch with Clarkson on the second line with Nazem Kadri and Mason Raymond.

Foul Language

Coach Carlyle has decided to use as little foul language as possible leading up to the taping of the HBO broadcasts.  He realizes the cameras will be on him continually leading up to the Michigan outdoor game.
