Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Morgan Rielly was one of seven defencemen named to Team Canada’s junior team that will compete at the IIHF World Under-20 tournament in Ufa, Russia.

Rielly has compiled 26 points in 30 games played this season for the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League. He was the Leafs’ first-round pick, fifth overall, at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, and played in the Canada-Russia challenge as well as the CHL Subway Super Series.

Canada’s first game is versus Germany on December 26.
