The Leafs kicked off their exhibition season in winning form, defeating the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 7-4 on Monday night.  The game was dubbed as the Coca-Cola Zero Fans First Game and was played before a full house of 18,819 fans who were recipients of promotional tickets.

Dominic Moore had a pair of goals while Carlo Colaiacovo had a goal and an assist.  “It was really fun getting into it tonght, ” said Colaiacovo following the game.  “The fans were really into it, and it’s fun playing in those kind of games.”

Justin Pogge played the second and third periods, earning the win in goal after Curtis Joseph started the game.

The Leafs next pre-season action is Wednesday as they travel to Pittsburgh.
