The Leafs were edged 2-1 in a close Saturday night tilt in Montreal.
Both goaltenders – Price and Andersen – were sharp. Andersen faced 29 shots while Price had 32 fired in his direction.
Nylander was the lone goal scorer for Toronto. He sniped a nice powerplay marker in the second. He was set up with a couple nifty passes by Komorov and Matthews. It was Nylander’s 8th point on the PP this season, enough to lead the Leafs in that category.
The Leafs next action is Tuesday night when they host Carolina.
