Ask any Leafs fan.  They HATE to lose to Montreal.  But in this close 2-1 loss Saturday night, the loss didn’t feel so bad.

From the goaltending right through the lineup, there was lots to cheer for.  Frederik Andersen was rock solid in net.  And the kids – Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and Auston Matthews – all had strong play the entire game.

The difference on this night was Carey Price.  The Habs netminder faced 38 shots.  Only 1 squeaked by.  That was a goal by Nazem Kadri on the PP, with assists to Jake Gardiner and Nylander.

The Leafs next game is tomorrow night in New York as they take on the Isles.
