Goaltender Frederik Andersen is expected to be out for 3-4 weeks after sustaining an upper body injury on Friday, Sept. 2 in a pre-Olympic qualifying game between Denmark and Slovenia.

The 26-year-old Andersen, is expected to be ready for the start of the 2016-17 NHL season but will not participate for Team Europe in the World Cup of Hockey 2016.

Philipp Grubbier has been named to Team Europe’s roster as Andersen’s replacement.
