Banner year continues for new dad Mats Sundin

As reported in the Toronto Star, citing the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, former Leafs captain Mats Sundin became a first time father this past week. Sundin and his wife Josephine are the proud parents of a baby daughter.
Earlier this summer Sundin was named as one of four NHL players to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012, along with Joe Sakic, Pavel Bure and Adam Oates.
In other news, Sundin has been named to the Leafs alumni roster for the scheduled New Year’s Eve game against the Detroit Red Wings along with Joe Nieuwendyk, Borje Salming and Frank Mahovlich.
