The Maple Leafs announced Thursday that Tie Domi, Dave “Tiger” Williams, and Brad May have been added to the team’s roster for the Alumni Showdown vs. the Detroit Red Wings.
The trio combined for 9,729 career penalty minutes in 3,023 NHL regular season games. Williams is the all-time NHL leader in PIMs with 3,966.
The game is currently scheduled to take place on New Year’s Eve in Detroit as part of the festivities surrounding the Winter Classic. However the event is anything but a certainty given the NHL’s current labour situation.
