The Maple Leafs have traded the rights to goaltender Jonas Gustavsson to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a conditional 7th round draft pick in 2013.

Gustavsson – nicknamed “The Monster”, went 17-17 with a 2.92 goals-against average and .902 save percentage. He also had four shutouts this season.

The 27-year-old native of Danderyd, Sweden is slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
