Leivo named OHL Player of the Week
The Ontario Hockey League announced Monday that Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Josh Leivo of the Sudbury Wolves is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 7. Leivo, the Leafs’ third round pick (86th overall) in 2011, scored six goals in three games.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Marlies play their second preseason game tonight versus the Hamilton Bulldogs at Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford, Ontario. Game time is 7pm, with a broadcast available on AM820.
