Recap:
Ryan Hamilton and Sam Carrick each scored as the Toronto Marlies defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-0 in AHL preseason action. Hamilton’s eventual game-winner was scored on a breakaway in the second period after the Marlies captain received a stretch pass from defenceman Mark Fraser.
Ben Scrivens, the winning goalie, and Jussi Rynnas shared the shutout with each netminder playing half the game. Toronto took both preseason games from their North Division rivals this weekend, having defeated the Bulldogs 3-1 on Saturday.
The game was played before a sellout crowd at Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford.
