Recap:
In a seesaw game at Montreal’s Bell Centre Mikhail Grabovski avenged his former team by scoring 1:23 in overtime to give the Maple Leafs their second victory over the Canadiens this season.
The win capped a back-and-forth game that saw two lead changes with neither team leading by more than a goal throughout the game. Phil Kessel scored his league-leading eighth goal of the season, while David Steckel, Dion Phaneuf and Nikolai Kulemin also found the net for Toronto.
For the Leafs the game was tempered by the loss of goaltender James Reimer, who was run into by Canadiens captain Brian Gionta 75 seconds into the game. Reimer remained in the game for the entire first period, but was replaced by Jonas Gustavsson afterwards. On the collision Gionta was assessed a two-minute minor penalty for goaltender intereference.
Head coach Ron Wilson said the Reimer had felt whiplash-like symptoms, and that the netminder would be reassessed on Sunday.

We certainly won’t be picking up points for very long if Reimer is out any games. The Monster looked like a little kid backed into his net on several of those goals.
