Leafs announce 2012-13 schedule

The Toronto Maple Leafs will play nine pre-season games in 2012-13, and will open the season on Saturday, October 13 when they host the Montreal Canadiens.

The season is highlighted by the Hockey Hall of Fame game Saturday, November 3 vs. Chicago, and the Bridgestone Winter Classic vs. Detroit on New Year’s Day at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

Toronto will play on 23 Saturday nights (15 home, 8 road) throughout the year.

Their longest road trip in 2012-13 is 6 games, from January 15-29. They have two 5-game homestands: October 30 – November 9 and December 3-13.
