After weeks of anticipation, Leafs general manager Brian Burke made his most significant transaction during his tenure in the Leafs organization, signing free agent defenceman Mike Komisarek.
The 27-year-old blueliner had spent his entire six-year career with the Montreal Canadiens. The deal is reportedly worth $4.5 million a season over five years.
