The Maple Leafs wasted no time in displaying their new brand of pugnacity, engaging in four fighting majors in a 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins on the opening night of the pre-season. Phil Oreskovic fought twice while Andre Deveaux and Jay Rosehill also dropped the gloves.
The line of Tyler Bozak, Viktor Stalberg and Christian Hanson was praised by head coach Ron Wilson as the best line of the evening, with Bozak and Stalberg accounting for the Leafs goals.
Toronto takes on Philadelphia tonight at the John Labatt Centre in London (7pm ET, Leafs TV, AM 640).
