Brian Burke continued his trend of adding more size to the Maple Leafs lineup, acquiring Wayne Primeau from Calgary yesterday in a trade that sent defenceman Anton Stralman to the Flames. Also going to Calgary was Colin Stuart, who had been brought to the Leafs in the Pavel Kubina deal. A pair of draft choices were also exchanged (second round, 2011 to Toronto, seventh round 2012 to Calgary).
Another bid emerges to buy the Phoenix Coyotes – one which would see the team play five games a year in either Saskatoon or Halifax.
