Brian Burke spoke to reporters on Thursday morning saying that he’d have to be “blown away” by an offer for defenceman Tomas Kaberle, and would be shocked if the Czech blueliner wasn’t a Leaf on opening night.
However, FAN 590 Howard Berger offers his opinion as to why the Leafs should deal Kaberle before the window of opportunity to trade him expires on August 15.
Dave Poulin was name to the Leafs front office yesterday, taking the post of VP of Hockey Operations.
