Although many fans have marked off today, Friday August 1, as D-Day (decision day) for Mats Sundin, it does not appear that the Leafs captain is any closer to making a decision on his playing future.
The Toronto Star suggests that Sundin is close to retirement. Meanwhile, the Toronto Sun reports that Sundin could go to any of six teams, other than the Detroit Red Wings.
The Leafs have bulked up by signing Andre Deveaux from the Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves.
